Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 large egg.
02 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
04 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs.
05 - 8 whole milk (or low-fat) mozzarella sticks.
06 - Cooking spray.

# Instructions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Beat egg in a shallow bowl. Mix Italian seasoning, salt, and breadcrumbs in another bowl.
02 - Dip each mozzarella stick in egg, then breadcrumbs. Place on lined sheet. Freeze for 30-60 minutes.
03 - Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating. Freeze again for 30-60 minutes.
04 - Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Spray basket and sticks with cooking spray. Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
05 - Let cool briefly, then serve hot while cheese is still gooey.

# Notes:

01 - For make-ahead, freeze coated sticks completely, then store in a zip-top bag for up to 3 months.
02 - If cooking from frozen, air fry at 360°F for 8-10 minutes.
