Air Fryer Pineapple Chicken (Print)

Sweet and savory chicken with pineapple and bell peppers, quickly air-fried to perfection with minimal cleanup required.

# Ingredients:

→ Sauces and Seasonings

01 - 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
02 - 4 minced garlic cloves
03 - 60 ml teriyaki sauce
04 - 60 ml barbecue sauce

→ Protein and Vegetables

05 - 2 cups fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
06 - 1 red bell pepper, chopped into 2.5 cm pieces
07 - 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

# Directions:

01 - Combine grated ginger, minced garlic, teriyaki sauce, and barbecue sauce in a large bowl. Whisk thoroughly to create a uniform marinade.
02 - Add the pineapple chunks, chicken cubes, and bell pepper pieces to the bowl. Toss until all ingredients are evenly coated with the sauce.
03 - Transfer the coated mixture into the air fryer basket. Set temperature to 200°C and timer for 11 minutes.
04 - Halfway through cooking, pause the air fryer and stir the contents to ensure even cooking. Resume cooking until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C.
05 - Spoon the hot chicken mixture over steamed rice and serve immediately.

01 - For best results, don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary for even cooking.
