# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 pre-baked deep 9-inch pie shell

→ Filling

02 - 6-8 thick slices of bacon, fried crisp and chopped
03 - 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
04 - 1 large yellow onion, very thinly sliced

→ Topping

05 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
07 - 1/2 cup sour cream
08 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
11 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Garnish

12 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Sauté thinly sliced onions in bacon drippings over medium heat until soft and caramelized, approximately 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
03 - Layer half the caramelized onions in the pie crust, followed by half the sliced tomatoes and half the crumbled bacon. Repeat with remaining onions, tomatoes, and bacon to complete the layers.
04 - In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly integrated.
05 - Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the layered ingredients. Place pie on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
06 - Remove from oven and allow to rest for several minutes. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley or chives before slicing and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Reserve some bacon drippings for sautéing the onions to enhance flavor depth
