01 - 8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread
02 - 8 slices mild or sharp cheddar cheese
03 - 8 slices streaky bacon
04 - 30 millilitres unsalted butter, softened

# Directions:

01 - Set the grill to medium heat and allow it to reach temperature.
02 - Spread softened butter evenly over one side of each bread slice.
03 - Layer one slice of cheese between two slices of bread with buttered sides facing outward.
04 - Tightly wrap each assembled sandwich with one strip of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary to maintain shape during grilling.
05 - Place bacon wrapped sandwiches on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 6–8 minutes per side, turning once until bacon is crisp and bread is golden brown.
06 - Remove toothpicks, slice into fingers, and serve immediately while hot.
