Warm Glazed Apple Fritters (Print)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
04 - 1/2 tsp cinnamon
05 - 1/4 tsp salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 2/3 cup milk
07 - 1 egg
08 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
09 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Filling

10 - 1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and finely chopped

→ Glaze

11 - 1 cup powdered sugar
12 - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
13 - 2–3 tbsp milk

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
05 - Drop 1/4-cup spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, slightly flattening each mound.
06 - Bake for 16–18 minutes or until golden brown and firm on top. Let cool slightly.
07 - Whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Adjust the glaze thickness if necessary.
08 - Drizzle glaze over the warm fritters and let it set before serving.
