Baklava Cream Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - ½ cup granulated sugar
03 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
04 - ¼ cup honey
05 - ¼ cup chopped pistachios
06 - ¼ cup chopped walnuts
07 - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
08 - ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Filling and Garnish

10 - ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
11 - ¼ cup powdered sugar
12 - ¼ cup caramel sauce
13 - Additional chopped pistachios and walnuts for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add honey. Combine dry ingredients separately, then mix into butter mixture. Fold in nuts.
03 - Roll dough into balls, flatten slightly. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
04 - Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth while cookies cool.
05 - Spread filling between cooled cookies to make sandwiches. Drizzle with caramel and garnish with nuts.
