Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats (Print)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
03 - 5 cups mini marshmallows
04 - 1½ cups mini marshmallows (for mixing in)

05 - 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
06 - ¼ cup prepared instant banana pudding mixture
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Toppings

08 - Crushed vanilla wafers for garnish
09 - Marshmallow fluff for topping
10 - White chocolate for drizzling

# Directions:

01 - Follow package directions to prepare instant banana pudding. Allow it to set until thick and firm.
02 - In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add 5 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
03 - Incorporate vanilla extract and prepared banana pudding, stirring until fully integrated. Remove pan from heat.
04 - Fold in Rice Krispies cereal, remaining 1½ cups of mini marshmallows, and crushed vanilla wafers until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
05 - Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined baking dish. Gently press into an even layer, being careful not to compact the treats too firmly.
06 - Spread a thin layer of marshmallow fluff over the top surface and sprinkle with additional crushed vanilla wafers.
07 - Melt white chocolate in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Drizzle melted chocolate decoratively over the treats.
08 - Allow treats to cool completely at room temperature until set firm. Slice into squares before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use fresh marshmallows as stale ones won't melt as smoothly.
02 - Line your baking dish with parchment paper with overhanging edges for easy removal.
03 - If mixture is too sticky to work with, lightly coat your hands with cooking spray.
