Banana Split Fluff Salad (Print Version)

01 - 1 box (3.4 ounces) instant banana pudding mix
02 - 1 can (40 ounces) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
03 - 1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed
04 - 3 large ripe bananas, sliced
05 - 16 ounces fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
06 - 4 cups mini marshmallows
07 - 1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, drained well, some reserved for topping
08 - 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
09 - 1/2 cup chopped peanuts or walnuts, plus extra for topping
10 - Whipped cream, for topping
11 - Sprinkles, for topping

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and the juice from the crushed pineapple until smooth and thickened.
02 - Fold in the Cool Whip until well incorporated.
03 - Add sliced bananas, chopped strawberries, mini marshmallows, maraschino cherries, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts to the bowl. Gently fold the mixture until everything is well coated with the banana pudding mixture.
04 - Refrigerate the mixture for 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
05 - Before serving, garnish with additional chocolate chips, chopped nuts, maraschino cherries, dollops of whipped cream, and sprinkles.
