Simple Basic Soup Steps (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 1 onion, diced
03 - 2 carrots, diced
04 - 2 celery stalks, diced
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

06 - 6 cups broth
07 - 2 cups vegetables or protein of choice
08 - Salt to taste
09 - Pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
02 - Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
03 - Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
04 - Pour in broth, bring to a boil, then add other vegetables or protein.
05 - Reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
