Heat oven to 375°F.

Peel and slice potatoes thinly, trying to keep thickness even.

Melt butter in large skillet, cook onion, garlic and thyme until soft.

Add beef and cook until just browned, breaking into crumbles.

Season with salt, pepper, bouillon, oregano and paprika.

Drain extra fat, add flour and cook 1 minute.

Slowly stir in broth and milk until sauce thickens.

Grease baking dish, layer half the potatoes and half the beef.

Repeat layers with remaining potatoes and beef.

Cover with foil, bake 45 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Uncover, add cheese on top, bake 10-15 minutes until bubbly.

Let rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
