Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 large Bosc pears.
02 - 1-2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil.
03 - 2 1/2 ounces Danish blue cheese, crumbled.
04 - 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped.
05 - 3 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed from stems.
06 - 1-2 tablespoons honey.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper.
08 - Flaky salt, for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it is hot and ready for baking.
02 - Carefully slice each pear in half lengthwise and scoop out the core and seeds to create little cavities. Arrange them cut side up in a cast iron skillet or a baking dish.
03 - Drizzle the pear halves with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper for added flavor. Flip them over to rest cut side down in the skillet.
04 - Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, allowing the pears to soften and their flavors to intensify.
05 - Remove the pears from the oven and gently turn them over, cut side up. Generously stuff each pear with crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and fresh thyme.
06 - Return the skillet to the oven and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is just beginning to melt and meld with the nuts and thyme.
07 - In a small bowl, combine honey and Aleppo pepper, stirring until well mixed for a spicy-sweet glaze.
08 - Once the pears are golden and aromatic, transfer them to a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle each pear with the spicy honey and sprinkle with flaky salt and extra thyme, if desired. Enjoy your creation!.

# Notes:

01 - These blue cheese stuffed pears can be served warm or at room temperature, making them convenient for gatherings.
02 - Feel free to adjust the amount of honey and Aleppo pepper to suit your taste—more honey for sweetness, more pepper for heat.
