Blue Cheese Walnut Thyme Twirl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry Base

01 - 2 square sheets of puff pastry

→ Filling

02 - 2 tablespoons of honey
03 - 100 grams of crumbled blue cheese
04 - 100 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 50 grams of chopped walnuts
06 - 6–8 sprigs of fresh thyme leaves
07 - Sea salt
08 - Cracked pepper

→ Finish

09 - 1 tablespoon of milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). For electric non-fan forced ovens, increase the temperature to 200°C (390°F).
02 - Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each sheet of puff pastry.
03 - Evenly divide the chopped walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese between the two sheets of puff pastry. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top and season with sea salt and cracked pepper.
04 - Roll each sheet of pastry tightly, then cut each roll in half lengthwise. Tuck the pastry in after cutting to keep the filling intact.
05 - On a sheet of baking paper, twist each length of rolled pastry carefully and form into a round coil shape.
06 - Brush the pastry coils with milk to achieve a golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed, golden, and fully cooked.
07 - Remove pastries from the oven, scatter additional thyme leaves on top, and serve warm.
