→ Toppings & Add-Ons

11 - Sliced almonds or chopped pecans.
12 - Cinnamon sugar.
13 - Fresh fruit (e.g., berries, apples, peaches).

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking sheet or 9×13-inch pan. Roll out crescent roll dough or puff pastry evenly.
02 - In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk. Mix until smooth and creamy.
03 - Spread filling evenly over rolled-out dough. Optionally, swirl fruit preserves into filling. Add another dough layer and seal edges.
04 - Brush with egg wash (1 egg white + 1 tbsp water). Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
05 - Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Drizzle glaze over cooled Danish prior to serving.

# Notes:

01 - Keep the dough chilled for better handling and flakiness. Prevent sogginess by pre-baking the base layer for 5 minutes.
