05 - ¼ red onion, very thinly sliced
06 - ½ cup fresh basil, chopped or torn
07 - 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
08 - Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ For Serving

09 - Burrata cheese
10 - Flaky sea salt
11 - Balsamic glaze
12 - Extra virgin olive oil
13 - Fresh basil leaves

# Directions:

01 - Lightly brush the bread slices with olive oil. Toast or grill until golden, then rub one side of each slice with a peeled garlic clove.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, chopped basil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, toss thoroughly, and adjust seasoning to taste.
03 - Break open the burrata cheese. Arrange toasted bread slices garlic-side up on a serving platter and top each piece with a portion of creamy burrata.
04 - Spoon the tomato-basil mixture over each bread slice. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil, balsamic glaze, a sprinkle of flaky salt, and additional fresh basil leaves.

# Notes:

01 - For variation, consider adding roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, olives, artichoke hearts, or capers.
02 - While traditional bruschetta uses ciabatta or baguette, experiment with sourdough or gluten-free alternatives if preferred.
03 - If burrata is unavailable, substitute with ricotta, buffalo mozzarella, or cottage cheese for a lighter option.
04 - Premium extra-virgin olive oil significantly enhances flavor—use your best quality oil for this dish.
