Butter Garlic Sauce (Print)

Fragrant melted butter infused with garlic, oregano and basil - perfect for pizzas, pastas or as a dipping sauce.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
04 - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
05 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Directions:

01 - In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
02 - Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and just beginning to turn golden.
03 - Stir in the dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes if using. Continue to cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring constantly.
04 - Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
05 - Allow the garlic sauce to cool slightly before using it as a pizza sauce.
