Butter Pecan Cookies Treat (Print)

Soft buttery cookies with crunchy pecans.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 cup pecans, chopped

# Directions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
04 - Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
05 - Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
06 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
