Two-Tone Butter Swirl Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - 1 cup powdered sugar
03 - 2 egg yolks
04 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
05 - 1/2 tsp salt

→ White Dough

06 - 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

→ Chocolate Dough

07 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

# Instructions:

01 - Blend butter and powdered sugar for 3-5 minutes until creamy. Mix in egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
02 - Split mixture in half. For white dough, add 1 1/4 cup flour. For chocolate dough, mix in 1 cup flour and cocoa powder.
03 - Roll 1/4 teaspoon portions of each dough into small balls.
04 - Arrange 3 balls of each dough alternately in a flower pattern. Press together and roll into a swirl shape.
05 - Flatten swirls slightly, place on lined baking sheet. Chill 15-30 minutes. Bake at 325°F for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden.
