# Ingredients:

→ Compound Butter Ingredients

01 - 113 g unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1 tablespoon coarse Dijon mustard
03 - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
06 - 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
07 - 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
08 - 2 teaspoons hot sauce
09 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
10 - ½ teaspoon paprika
11 - ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
12 - ⅛ teaspoon pepper
13 - ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
14 - ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, chives, parsley, thyme, garlic, hot sauce, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until fully combined. This creates about ⅔ cup of butter. A food processor can be used as an alternative to hand mixing.
02 - Place the butter mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Shape into a log by rolling and pressing the butter while wrapping it in the plastic. Twist the ends to secure the wrapped log and refrigerate until firm for 2 hours up to overnight.
03 - If preferred as a dip, melt the butter mixture using the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring in-between until fully melted.
04 - Store the prepared butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

# Notes:

01 - The butter can be used as a spread, melted for dipping, or as a flavor enhancement in dishes.
