Cajun Steak Bites (Print)

Tender beef tenderloin bites seasoned with Creole spices and air-fried with mushrooms for a quick, flavorful meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 450g beef tenderloin

→ Vegetables

02 - 2 cups sliced mushrooms

→ Seasonings

03 - ½ tablespoon Creole seasoning
04 - ¾ teaspoon onion powder
05 - ¾ teaspoon paprika
06 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ Fats

07 - 3½ tablespoons oil
08 - 2½ tablespoons butter

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine Creole seasoning, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
02 - Cut the beef tenderloin into 1½ inch by 1 inch cubes.
03 - Mix the beef cubes with the sliced mushrooms, spice mixture, and 2½ tablespoons of oil. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 90 minutes.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Cook the beef and mushroom mixture in two batches for 8 minutes each, or until the beef reaches your desired doneness.
05 - Remove from the air fryer and immediately toss the steak bites and mushrooms with butter. Adjust seasoning with additional salt or Creole seasoning if needed.

# Notes:

01 - For medium-rare steak bites, internal temperature should reach 57°C (135°F).
02 - Letting the meat rest for 3 minutes after cooking will help retain juices.
