In a mixing bowl, combine Creole seasoning, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.

Cut the beef tenderloin into 1½ inch by 1 inch cubes.

Mix the beef cubes with the sliced mushrooms, spice mixture, and 2½ tablespoons of oil. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 90 minutes.

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Cook the beef and mushroom mixture in two batches for 8 minutes each, or until the beef reaches your desired doneness.

Remove from the air fryer and immediately toss the steak bites and mushrooms with butter. Adjust seasoning with additional salt or Creole seasoning if needed.
