# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups finely chopped fresh broccoli florets
02 - 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup all purpose flour
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - Salt and pepper to taste
08 - 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
09 - Olive oil for frying

# Directions:

01 - Chop the fresh broccoli florets into small pieces. Steam lightly for 2-3 minutes if a softer texture is preferred.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, flour, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
03 - Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into patties, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter.
04 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add just enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.
05 - Place a few fritters in the skillet without overcrowding. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
06 - Transfer the cooked fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
07 - Continue frying batches of fritters until all the mixture is used up. Add more oil to the skillet if needed. Serve warm, with or without a dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - These fritters can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 180°C for best results.
02 - For a crispier texture, squeeze excess moisture from the broccoli before mixing with other ingredients.
