Cheesy Shrimp Sausage Bacon Pasta (Print)

Rotini tossed with shrimp, sausage, bacon and a creamy four-cheese blend for a decadent dinner that satisfies all cravings.

# Ingredients:

01 - 480 ml heavy cream
02 - 120 g cream cheese
03 - 200 g freshly grated cheese blend (Gruyère, aged white cheddar, smoked Gouda, mild cheddar)

04 - 10-12 raw shrimp, deveined and peeled
05 - 5 ml seafood seasoning

→ Meat

06 - 1 smoked sausage link, cut into 1.25 cm pieces
07 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

→ Pasta

08 - 225 g rotini or preferred pasta

→ Seasonings

09 - 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
10 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 5 ml garlic powder
12 - 2.5 ml onion powder
13 - 1.25 ml ground black pepper
14 - 1.25 ml salt

→ Fat & Oil

15 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
16 - 30 ml olive oil

→ Herbs

17 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Pat shrimp dry and season with seafood seasoning. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Sauté shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and curled, then transfer to a bowl. In the same skillet, brown sausage pieces to render and crisp edges, then set aside.
02 - Cook bacon in a separate pan until crisp; drain and chop. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve.
03 - In the same skillet used for the protein, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until aromatic, about 1 minute. Add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until smooth and combined. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gradually fold in grated cheese blend, whisking gently until melted and velvety. Remove from heat.
04 - Toss the cooked pasta with the warm cheese sauce. Add reserved shrimp, sausage, and chopped bacon, folding gently to evenly coat.
05 - Transfer to a serving dish. Garnish generously with fresh parsley and additional grated cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
