Gingerbread Cookie Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1/4 cup dark brown sugar.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 1/3 cup molasses.
06 - 1 large egg.
07 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
08 - 2 teaspoons baking soda.
09 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
12 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
13 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
14 - 6 ounces cream cheese, softened.
15 - 3 tablespoons butter, softened.
16 - 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar.
17 - 3/4 teaspoon vanilla.
18 - Holiday sprinkles (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Place oven rack in middle, heat to 350°F.
02 - Grease 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
03 - Mix flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
04 - Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, molasses until fluffy.
05 - Add egg, mix well.
06 - Mix in dry ingredients until combined.
07 - Spread in pan evenly.
08 - Bake 15-20 minutes until toothpick comes clean.
09 - Cool completely.
10 - Beat cream cheese and butter for frosting.
11 - Add sugar and vanilla, mix until creamy.
12 - Frost cooled bars, add sprinkles if desired.
13 - Cut into 24 pieces.
