Chicken Kofta with Garlic Yogurt (Print)

Juicy ground chicken seasoned with aromatic spices, grilled to perfection and served with a cooling garlic yogurt sauce.

# Ingredients:

01 - 500 grams ground chicken
02 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
06 - 1 teaspoon ground coriander
07 - 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
09 - 1 cup plain yogurt
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, for grilling

# Directions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley.
02 - Add ground cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
03 - Wet your hands and shape the mixture into elongated oval koftas.
04 - Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
05 - Grill the koftas for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
06 - In a small bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to make the garlic yogurt sauce.
07 - Serve the koftas with the garlic yogurt sauce and your choice of sides.

01 - Let the koftas rest for a few minutes after grilling for better flavor.
02 - Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches 75°C (165°F).
