Chocolate Caramel Brownie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the brownies

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter
02 - 1 cup dark chocolate morsels
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar
04 - ¾ cup all-purpose flour
05 - 3 large eggs
06 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt

→ For the filling and frosting

07 - 2 packages (7.9 oz each) DOVE® PROMISES Caramel Milk Chocolates
08 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
09 - 2 cups powdered sugar
10 - ½ cup unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
11 - ¼ cup milk
12 - 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a mini muffin pan with baking spray. Set aside.
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and dark chocolate. Microwave for one minute, stir, and heat an additional 30 seconds, stirring until smooth. Add in sugar, flour, eggs, and salt, and blend just until combined. Do not overmix.
03 - Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, divide the brownie batter evenly into the prepared mini muffin pan.
04 - Bake for 11-13 minutes. While the brownies bake, unwrap the DOVE® PROMISES Caramel Milk Chocolates.
05 - When the brownies are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately press a chocolate caramel candy into the center of each brownie. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
06 - In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and caramel sauce together until smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
07 - Pipe or spoon the frosting onto each cooled brownie bite.

# Notes:

01 - Any chocolate-covered caramel can be substituted for DOVE® PROMISES Caramel Milk Chocolates. Rolos are a great alternative.
02 - Store frosted brownie bites covered at room temperature and enjoy within 3-4 days for optimal taste.
03 - To ensure even distribution, fill each mini muffin cup with approximately 1 tablespoon of batter.
04 - For an elevated homemade touch, use homemade caramels instead of store-bought candy.
