Chopped Salad with Grilled Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ⅓ cup Lemon Herb Tahini Dressing
02 - 12 oz filet or sirloin steaks
03 - 1 Tbsp steak seasoning (Montreal Steak Seasoning recommended)
04 - ½ tsp garlic powder
05 - ¼ tsp salt
06 - 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
07 - 8 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
08 - ½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
09 - ¼ cup corn kernels
10 - 1 Tbsp shallots, chopped (or red onion)
11 - 1 small avocado, sliced or chopped
12 - Fresh thyme or basil for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Make the dressing you like (if making your own) and set it aside.
02 - Season the steak on both sides with steak seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Grill on a clean grill, on medium/high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium cook.
03 - Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes, then slice into thin strips.
04 - Add all the chopped ingredients to a large bowl or serving tray, top with dressing, garnish with herbs and sliced steak. Serve and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Cook the steak how you like it. You make the rules here - make it rare, medium or well done, whatever makes you happy.
02 - Using a slap chopper helps keep the food in equal sizes and makes it easier to chop everything evenly.
03 - Prepare the dressing and hard boiled eggs ahead of time for a super quick prep.
04 - Feel free to add or omit any ingredients according to your preference. Crispy bacon bits make a delicious addition!
