Christmas Jam in Crockpot (Print)

A fruity, spiced holiday jam crafted from cranberries and strawberries using a crockpot.

# Ingredients:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
02 - 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and hulled

→ Sweetening

03 - 1 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

→ Spice Blend

05 - 1 teaspoon ground allspice
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger

→ Brightness

08 - Optional citrus zest or lemon juice for a zesty kick

# Directions:

01 - In your crockpot, combine the strawberries, cranberries, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, ground allspice, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Stir gently to coat the fruit.
02 - Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours, stirring halfway through to prevent sticking.
03 - After 4 hours, pulse the jam with an immersion blender to achieve a thick, spreadable consistency.
04 - Fill clean jars with warm jam, wipe the rims, and secure the lids lightly.
05 - Allow the jars to cool at room temperature for about an hour, then transfer them to the refrigerator.
