Classic Deviled Eggs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 large hard boiled eggs, carefully peeled.
02 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
03 - 2 teaspoons mustard.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 - Few grinds of black pepper.
06 - Pinch cayenne pepper.
07 - 1 tablespoon pickle relish (optional).
08 - Smoked paprika, for dusting.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the eggs in half lengthwise.
02 - Carefully remove the yolks and place into a medium sized bowl; transfer the egg white halves onto a serving platter.
03 - Using a fork, mash the yolks until it resembles very fine crumbs.
04 - Add in the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, cayenne, and pickle relish (if using), and mix well until it's completely smooth.
05 - Spoon mixture into a plastic ziploc bag, drawing the mixture toward one corner. Cut off a small piece of that corner. Evenly pipe the mixture into the egg white halves.
06 - Garnish with a sprinkle of smoked paprika.

# Notes:

01 - Peel eggs carefully to avoid tearing whites.
02 - Can be made up to 24 hours ahead.
