Cowboy Butter Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 8 oz linguine pasta

→ Cowboy Butter Sauce

03 - ½ cup unsalted butter
04 - 4 cloves minced garlic
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
07 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - salt and pepper to taste
11 - 1 cup chicken broth
12 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice

→ Garnish

13 - freshly grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken with spices. Cook in 2 tablespoons butter for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
02 - Cook linguine according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
03 - Melt remaining butter in same skillet. Sauté garlic and herbs. Add broth and lemon juice, simmer 2-3 minutes.
04 - Slice chicken. Toss pasta with sauce, adding pasta water as needed. Fold in chicken. Garnish with Parmesan and herbs.

# Notes:

01 - Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency
02 - Can adjust spice level with red pepper flakes
03 - Sauce can be made spicier or milder to taste
