Cranberry Pecan Baked Brie (Print Version)

01 - 8-ounce wheel brie cheese, rind trimmed
02 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed

03 - ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
04 - 2 tablespoons honey
05 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
06 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
07 - ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
08 - Pinch of nutmeg
09 - Zest of 1 orange
10 - ½ cup pecan halves, chopped
11 - ¼ cup dried cranberries

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - Place brie on a rimmed baking sheet or a 5-inch cast iron skillet; sprinkle with brown sugar. Place into oven and bake until softened, about 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
03 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until foamy, about 1-2 minutes.
04 - Stir in chopped pecans and dried cranberries to the saucepan.
05 - Serve brie warm topped with the pecan mixture. Pair with crackers or baguette slices as desired.
