# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz package cream cheese, softened and cubed
02 - 4 tablespoons butter
03 - 1/3 cup milk
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 18 oz bag frozen corn, thawed
07 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
08 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 2-quart baking dish.
02 - In a medium pot over low heat, melt the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Stir in the milk until well combined.
03 - Add the salt, black pepper, thawed corn, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the pot. Stir until fully mixed.
04 - Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top with a layer of grated sharp cheddar cheese.
05 - Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
06 - Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
