Creamed Potatoes with Peas (Print)

Tender potatoes and peas baked with creamy sauce and crispy bacon.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs red potatoes, boiled
02 - ¼ cup butter
03 - 3 tablespoons flour
04 - 1 ½ teaspoons salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon pepper
06 - 1 ½ cups milk
07 - 1 cup evaporated milk
08 - 10 oz frozen peas
09 - ½ cup onion, diced

# Directions:

01 - Cut boiled red potatoes in half and place them on a greased baking pan.
02 - Sprinkle frozen peas over the halved potatoes.
03 - In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened to the right consistency.
04 - Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables. Top with cooked and crumbled bacon. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
