Creamy Beef Mushroom Rice Bake (Print)

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 cup chopped mushrooms
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 1 cup uncooked white rice
05 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
06 - 2 cups beef broth
07 - 1/2 cup sour cream
08 - 1 tsp garlic powder
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a skillet, cook ground beef, mushrooms, and onion until beef is browned; drain excess fat.
03 - In a bowl, combine beef mixture, uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
04 - Pour into baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 50–60 minutes, until rice is tender.
05 - Uncover, sprinkle with cheese (if using), and bake 5 more minutes.
06 - Let sit a few minutes before serving.
