Creamy Garlic Butter Rigatoni (Print)

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 12 oz rigatoni pasta
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 5 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - Pepper to taste
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - 1 cup heavy cream
11 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 1/2 cup whole milk
14 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Directions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
04 - Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and continue stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
05 - Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened, then taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
06 - Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
07 - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
