Crescent Sausage Cream Bake (Print)

Flaky crescent layers with savory sausage and creamy filling.

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
02 - 8 oz roll of breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
03 - 2 (8 oz) cans crescent roll dough
04 - ½ tsp garlic powder
05 - ¼ tsp black pepper
06 - Chopped green onions or shredded cheese (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
02 - Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
03 - Mix cream cheese with the cooked sausage. Stir until melted and well combined. Add garlic powder, pepper, or other mix-ins if using.
04 - Roll out 1 can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
05 - Spread sausage mixture evenly over the dough layer.
06 - Top with second can of crescent dough, carefully laying it over the filling and sealing seams.
07 - Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
08 - Cool slightly, then cut into squares and serve warm.
