Crispy Beef and Cheese Chimichangas (Print)

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
03 - 6 large flour tortillas
04 - 1 medium onion, diced
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tsp cumin
07 - 1 tsp chili powder
08 - Salt and pepper to taste
09 - Vegetable oil for frying

# Directions:

01 - Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onions until golden brown.
02 - Add minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until beef is browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
03 - Stir in cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
04 - Remove the skillet from heat and blend in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
05 - Spoon the beef-cheese mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and tuck in the ends.
