Crispy Roasted Chickpeas Snack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
05 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)

# Instructions:

01 - Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Spread chickpeas on a paper towel and pat them dry thoroughly. The drier they are, the crispier they’ll get!
03 - In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne (if using).
04 - Spread chickpeas in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
05 - Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving—they’ll crisp up even more as they cool!

# Notes:

01 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. To re-crisp, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes.
