Crock Pot Cabbage Rolls Dish (Print Version)

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 1 small head cabbage, chopped (about 6 cups)
05 - 2 ½ cups water
06 - 1 cup uncooked Minute rice
07 - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
08 - 1 ½ teaspoons garlic salt
09 - 1 teaspoon paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon sugar
11 - 28 ounce can tomato sauce
12 - 14.5 ounce can petite diced tomatoes (with juice, preferably garlic & olive oil flavored)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with garlic and onion. Drain any excess grease.
02 - In the slow cooker, add cabbage, water, uncooked Minute rice, black pepper, garlic salt, paprika, sugar, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Add the cooked beef mixture and stir until combined.
03 - Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Ensure the rice and cabbage become tender.
04 - If the mixture is too thick, add more water or broth to reach the desired consistency. Top each serving with shredded cheese if desired and serve.

# Notes:

01 - For a thinner consistency, you can add water, beef broth, or chicken broth during cooking.
