Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the crockpot.

Sprinkle the au jus and ranch seasoning packets evenly over the chicken.

Place butter on top of the chicken and add the peperoncini peppers.

Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours.

Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the juices.
