Crockpot Mississippi Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
03 - 1 packet ranch dressing mix
04 - ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
05 - 6 peperoncini peppers

# Instructions:

01 - Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the crockpot.
02 - Sprinkle the au jus and ranch seasoning packets evenly over the chicken.
03 - Place butter on top of the chicken and add the peperoncini peppers.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours.
05 - Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the juices.
06 - Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

01 - Use low-sodium seasoning packets for a healthier version
02 - For extra tang, add a splash of peperoncini juice
03 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months
