Easy Beef Queso (Print)

Friends texted they were coming over to watch the game. Found ground beef in the fridge, cheese in the pantry, and twenty minutes later this hot dip saved the night.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef.
02 - 2 tablespoons taco seasoning.
03 - 8 ounces Velveeta cheese.
04 - 2 cups grated cheddar cheese.
05 - 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chiles, canned, juices drained.
06 - 1/2 cup milk.

# Directions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink, and season it with taco seasoning.
02 - Drain the juice from the can of diced tomatoes with green chiles.
03 - Add the drained tomatoes, Velveeta, and cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir gently and continuously until the cheese starts to melt.
04 - Pour in the milk and continue to stir until all the cheese has melted, creating a smooth and creamy mixture.
05 - Garnish with additional toppings if desired, and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - This queso is perfect for dipping tortilla chips or as a saucy topping for nachos.
02 - Add jalapeƱos or diced onions for an extra kick of flavor.
03 - This dish can be prepared ahead of time and reheated before serving.
