Eggnog Cake Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 oz pound cake mix.
02 - 2/3 cup eggnog.
03 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened.
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 2 tablespoons rum or 2 tsp extract.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
07 - 16 oz whipped vanilla frosting.
08 - 48 oz candy coating.
09 - Sea salt for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line 9x5 loaf pan with parchment.
02 - Beat cake mix, eggnog, butter, eggs, rum, and nutmeg until blended.
03 - Pour into prepared pan and bake 55-60 minutes until done.
04 - Cool completely then crumble cake into fine crumbs.
05 - Mix in frosting gradually until mixture holds together.
06 - Form into 1-inch balls and place on lined sheet.
07 - Chill several hours or overnight until firm.
08 - Melt candy coating according to package directions.
09 - Dip chilled balls in coating using fork.
10 - Sprinkle with sea salt before coating sets.
11 - Refrigerate 30 minutes to set completely.
