Fancy Christmas Cakes with Whipped Filling (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup (1 stick or 113g) butter, softened.
02 - 1 tsp McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract.
03 - 16 oz confectioners' sugar, sifted.
04 - 2 tbsp (2% or whole) milk.
05 - Pinch salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Beat butter in bowl of stand mixer with whisk attachment on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
02 - Add vanilla extract.
03 - With mixer on low, slowly add in confectioners' sugar, milk, and salt; frequently scrape sides and bottom of bowl.
04 - Once incorporated, whip frosting for at least 3 minutes on medium high to high. (Can go up to 7 minutes).
05 - If frosting is too thick to spread, gradually beat in additional milk.
06 - Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Rewhip before using.

# Notes:

01 - Can be stored for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
02 - Needs to be rewhipped before using.
03 - Use suggested white cake recipe for from-scratch cakes.
