01 -
Combine the milk, condensed milk, egg, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Mix well. Add the flour and salt, then mix until a dough forms. Add the butter and stir until fully combined. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface.
02 -
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Shape it into a ball and place in an oiled bowl. Cover and let rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
03 -
Punch out the air from the dough and divide it into two equal pieces. Roll out one piece flat into a long rectangle, then roll it up tightly and seal the edges. Repeat with the second half.
04 -
Cut each roll into seven equal pieces. Place seven pieces in a parchment-lined loaf pan. Repeat with the second roll in another pan. Cover and let rest for 45 minutes.
05 -
Brush the dough with an egg wash made by whisking 1 egg and 2 tablespoons milk together. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20–22 minutes.
06 -
Combine the softened butter and condensed milk to create the glaze. Let the bread cool slightly before brushing with the glaze.
