Place frozen meatballs into a slow cooker. Pour pasta sauce over them and cook on high for 2 hours or until thoroughly heated.

Set the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Line a shallow baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.

Combine softened butter and minced garlic in a small bowl to create a garlic butter spread.

Slice the torpedo rolls open and spread the garlic butter on the interior side of each roll. Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.

Bake the prepared rolls for approximately 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Remove the toasted rolls from the oven. Fill each roll with cooked meatballs, spoon sauce over them, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Add additional sauce and cheese if desired.

Return the filled subs to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
