Garlic Butter Rice Side (Print)

Tender long grain rice cooked with butter and garlic for a simple yet flavorful side dish that pairs with any main course.

# Ingredients:

01 - 60 grams unsalted butter
02 - 100 grams long grain white rice
03 - 360 millilitres water
04 - 10 millilitres chicken Better Than Bouillon base
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced

# Directions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter until fully liquefied. Add the long grain white rice and stir continuously until it takes on a light golden colour, approximately 2 minutes.
02 - Pour in the water and add the chicken Better Than Bouillon base. Stir thoroughly until the bouillon is completely dissolved.
03 - Stir in the minced garlic, ensuring even distribution throughout the rice mixture.
04 - Cover the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
05 - Fluff the rice gently with a fork before serving immediately for optimal texture and flavour.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, allow the rice to rest covered for 5 minutes after cooking before fluffing.
