Gingerbread Gin Martini Cocktail (Print)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 oz gin
02 - 0.5 oz vodka (optional)
03 - 0.75 oz gingerbread syrup (store-bought or homemade)
04 - 0.5 oz heavy cream or half and half
05 - 0.25 oz dry vermouth
06 - 1 tsp honey
07 - Ice cubes for shaking

08 - Brown sugar or crushed gingerbread cookies for rimming
09 - Ground cinnamon for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Place the martini glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
02 - Coat the edge of the glass with honey, then dip into brown sugar or crushed gingerbread cookies.
03 - Add gin, vodka, gingerbread syrup, dry vermouth, and cream into a cocktail shaker.
04 - Fill the shaker about two-thirds full with ice.
05 - Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker becomes frosty.
06 - Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass. Top with a pinch of cinnamon or freshly grated nutmeg.
