Gingerbread Waffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
05 - 3/4 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
07 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
10 - 4 large eggs, separated.
11 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
12 - 1 cup milk.
13 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt.
14 - 3 tablespoons molasses.
15 - 1 cup sugar (for syrup).
16 - 1/2 cup butter (for syrup).
17 - 1 cup heavy cream (for syrup).
18 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (for syrup).
19 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (for syrup).

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices in a large bowl.
02 - Combine egg yolks, oil, milk, yogurt and molasses in another bowl.
03 - Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
04 - Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, then gently fold in beaten egg whites.
05 - Cook in greased waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.
06 - Cook sugar, butter and cream until boiling. Cook 3-5 minutes, then add vanilla and baking soda.
