Gingerbread White Russian Cocktail (Print)

A creamy holiday cocktail with vodka, coffee liqueur, and gingerbread flavors topped with spiced cream.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 oz vodka
02 - 1 oz coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
03 - 1 oz gingerbread syrup, homemade or store-bought
04 - 1 oz heavy cream

→ Garnish

05 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
06 - 1 tsp ground nutmeg
07 - Crushed ice
08 - Gingerbread cookies, optional

# Directions:

01 - Choose a short rocks glass and fill it with crushed ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
02 - In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, and gingerbread syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and secure the lid.
03 - Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds until well blended and chilled.
04 - Remove the chilled rocks glass from the freezer or discard the ice used for chilling. Strain the mixture into the glass over fresh crushed ice.
05 - In a separate mixing bowl, gently whisk the heavy cream until slightly thickened but still pourable.
06 - Slowly pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon onto the top of the cocktail to create a layered effect.
07 - Sprinkle ground cinnamon and nutmeg over the cream layer for a fragrant finish. Optionally, place a gingerbread cookie on the rim of the glass for decoration.
