Clear glass or plastic jar with lid

Warm water

Vegetable oil

Food coloring (optional)

Glow-in-the-dark paint (washable, non-toxic recommended)

Fork or toothpick

# Instructions:

Fill your jar about ¾ full with warm water. The warmth helps the paint drops spread like fireworks.

In a small bowl, mix 2–3 tablespoons of vegetable oil with small drops of glow-in-the-dark paint (and a few drops of food coloring if desired). Stir well to separate the paint into tiny droplets.

Pour the oil and paint mixture gently into the jar of warm water. Wait and watch the magic begin!

The oil floats while the glow paint droplets slowly fall, bursting and swirling like mini fireworks in the jar. Turn off the lights and watch it glow!

Charge the jar under a lamp or use a blacklight to enhance the glow effect in the dark!
