Ground Beef Potato Casserole (Print)

Hearty ground beef mixed with potatoes and creamy soups, topped with melted cheddar for a simple, satisfying one-dish meal.

01 - 900 g to 1 kg ground beef
02 - 300 g condensed cream of mushroom soup
03 - 300 g condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup
04 - 360 g frozen cubed potatoes
05 - 120 g shredded cheddar cheese, divided
06 - Salt to taste
07 - Ground black pepper to taste

# Directions:

01 - Set oven temperature to 175°C and allow to fully preheat.
02 - Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat thoroughly.
03 - Transfer cooked beef to a large mixing bowl. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup, condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup, frozen cubed potatoes, 60 g of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Stir until evenly combined.
04 - Lightly grease a 23 x 33 cm baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
05 - Sprinkle the remaining 60 g shredded cheddar cheese over the surface. Cover the dish tightly with aluminium foil.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
07 - Carefully remove foil, then continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the casserole is heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
