# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt.
04 - 1/2 cup cold water.
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Begin with a completely cold saucepan and carefully whisk cocoa powder and sugar together until no lumps remain visible.
02 - Add the measured salt to your cocoa-sugar mixture, then gradually pour in the cold water while whisking continuously.
03 - Place your saucepan over medium to medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a gentle, controlled boil, stirring regularly.
04 - Once boiling, reduce heat immediately to achieve a gentle simmer, making sure to stir constantly to prevent sticking.
05 - Allow sauce to simmer for precisely 30 seconds while continuing to stir, then remove from heat promptly.
06 - Let the mixture cool slightly before stirring in the vanilla extract until completely incorporated into the sauce.
07 - Transfer your finished chocolate sauce to a clean glass jar, allowing it to cool completely at room temperature.
08 - Notice as the sauce cools it will gradually thicken from its initial thin consistency to perfect drizzling texture.

# Notes:

01 - Keeps 2 weeks in fridge.
02 - Can be doubled easily.
03 - Reheat before serving.
